BusinessPlanHub ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at businessplanhub.com. We provide business plan tools, writing services, and related resources for entrepreneurs and businesses.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name and email address when you download a free template, request a quote, or purchase a service. We also collect standard website analytics data (pages visited, browser type, referral source) through privacy-respecting analytics tools.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to: deliver the services you request; send you the free template or other resources you sign up for; send occasional emails about our services (you can unsubscribe at any time); and improve our website and services.

4. The Business Plan Toolkit and AI

If you use the Business Plan Toolkit at toolkit.businessplanhub.com, we store the plan you write, the answers you give in Start Here, your financial forecast, and any files you upload as reference material. This is your content: you own it, and we hold it so we can show it back to you and put it into the documents you export.

Some features use artificial intelligence — drafting a section, polishing your wording, reviewing your plan, generating a pitch deck or a market research report. When you use one of those features, the relevant parts of your content are sent to our AI provider, OpenRouter, which passes it to the model that produces the text. Depending on the feature, that can include your survey answers, sections you have already written, a summary of your forecast figures, and the text of reference files you have uploaded.

We send every one of those requests with data collection refused, which restricts them to model providers that do not retain your prompts or use them to train their models. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train any model of our own.

Your financial figures are not produced by AI. Revenue, costs, profit, cash flow and the statements in your plan are calculated by our own financial engine. You can use the whole toolkit without ever using an AI feature.

We also use Supabase to host the database and handle sign-in, and PayPal to take payment. We do not see or store your card details.

5. Email communications

If you provide your email address, we may send you the requested resource and follow-up information about our services. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We honour all unsubscribe requests promptly.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the website to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies without your consent.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

8. Your rights
